CLEAN LAKE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Scientific Aquatic Weed Control, Inc offers the Clean Lake Maintenance Program which provides lake inspections and required treatments to maintain continuously clean, usable lakes during the summer season. With this program the company provides professional consultation on all lake programs.

In addition to the Clean Lake Management Program the company offers the following: per treatment contracts, custom designed programs, consultation, commercial quality products and equipment, and more natural optional Vegetation Management Programs. Our goal is to provide clients with the best program to fit their needs. We'll do whatever it takes to ensure proper and effective habitat maintenance!

LAKES AND PONDS WEED AND ALGAE CONTROL

Recreation has become an essential part of our way of life. Our lakes and streams are important in supplying this recreational need. Severe nuisances due to excessive weed and algae growths in lakes, ponds, and channels may strain our recreational habitats, lower property values, and jeopardize fish population. FOUNTAINS

Fountains offer spectacular displays and provide impressive aesthetic beauty in small/large lakes or ponds, keep water healthy and clear, provide peaceful appearances for owners, make a grand welcome at entrances and can be dramatic at night. Fountains introduce oxygen and create water circulation which leaves the area with fresh oxygen for fish and the water free from odors and algae.

SHORELINE STABILIZATION

Scientific Aqautic Weed Control, Inc is also an expert in providing shoreline stabilization. We install rip rap, pilings, and other stabilization devices from the water side doing minimal damage to the landscape.

Scientific Aquatic Weed Control, Inc. is a first generation, family-owned business serving all of Chicagoland since 1960 with effective lake management. We work on commercial, industrial & residential sites. Weed and algae control are our specialty. We work with ponds, waterfalls, brooks, man-made lakes and water fountains.

We are the oldest Midwest company in the use of registered aquatic herbicides and algaecides for control of unwanted aquatic vegetation. We continue to be involved with manufacturers in early testing of field efficacy of new candidate herbicides, algaecides and bacteria to continually offer our clients the best in aquatic management programs.

Over the years, we have developed scientific maintenance programs for apartment, condo, and community lakes and ponds. We offer a clean lake management program which provides lake inspections and treatments as required to maintain continuously clean and usable lakes during the summer season. This service includes professional consultation on all lake maintenance problems.

We are available year round. Fall and Spring maintenance is available for fountains & waterfalls with pumps. Fountain pump storage is also available. Our employees are trained professionals, trained with the best practices and technologies. Our company is a qualifying SePro Stewards of Water company focusing on preserving, restoring, and protecting water resources. We are a current member and past President of Midwest Aquatic Management Society.
